An educator by training I am now a full-time mother, artist, and illustrator living in Portland, Maine.

One of my primary goals as a collage artist is to make art more accessible and to engage the viewers, adults and children alike, by drawing them in through the use of color, movement, shapes, and story-telling.  Common themes in my collages include children and families, the ocean, birds, fruit, fish, Asian motifs, and the concept of home.

I am inspired by patterns in nature, organic shapes, vintage and contemporary children’s book illustrations, parenthood, mid-century modernism, expressionism, and our life by the sea.
